USAID Support Partnership Research Colleges AS-Indonesia

Embassy of the United States as well as the Ministry of education and culture announced the expansion of the partnership program antarperguruan the height of the United States International Development Agency (USAID) totaling 6 million US dollars for joint research conducted in Indonesia and colleges AS.

College Partnership Program is one of the U.s. Government's cooperation program in the field of education that aims to enhance and promote cooperation between higher education institutions in the US and Indonesia.

Attending the inauguration of the cooperation programme include Director and Educator Supriadi Rustad Educational Personnel Directorate General of higher education, United States Ambassador to Indonesia Scot Marciel, the Deputy Envoy for Coordinating people's Welfare Ministry Agus Sartono, as well as the Director General of higher education of Islam Nur Sham.

Supriadi Rustad in Jakarta, Monday (19/3/2013), said Indonesia's education cooperation with other countries is crucial to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

The cooperation in the field of research, the exchange of lecturers and students, granting of scholarships, and other forms.

Meanwhile, Scot Marciel expects U.S.-Indonesia partnership program will help improve the quality of teaching at universities, promoting science and technology, as well as inspire scientists to contribute to society through the important work that he did.
