Indonesia and Thailand Learning Materials Shared Bunk

Cooperation in the field of vocational education between Indonesia and Thailand currently increasingly deepened in order to support the ASEAN community 2015. One form is composed of matter of learning that can be implemented jointly by the schools or colleges in the two countries.

To develop learning materials together, a number of teachers and principals from Indonesia met directly with leaders of colleges from Thailand.

The meeting was facilitated organization of the Ministry of education Se-Southeast Asia and Thailand, Commissioner Education Commission as reported Compass Runik Sri Astuti journalist from the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, Wednesday (6/3).

"There are 31 vocational schools and 3 universities from Indonesia who are currently formulating learning materials along with 40 colleges from Thailand. The target is up to September 2013 joint learning material that can already be applied in each school, "says Director Gatot Priowirjanto Day C/C++.

Collaborative partnership between vocational education Indonesia and Thailand developed since 2008 and entered an advanced phase in 2013. This cooperation is maintained using information and communication technologies. Therefore, this technology has a number of advantages, including low-cost and accessible to all students from different economic strata.

Earlier, collaborative cooperation is carried out through education programs of exchange of teachers and students. The Program is evaluated less effective and efficient because it has limited coverage and cost prohibitive. For example, to send one student internships abroad need a minimal cost Rp 6 million.

With information technology, educational cooperation can be woven through the online system. This system allows teachers and students from both countries, even many countries, interacting through cyberspace with a variety of facilities, such as a blog, website, social networking, and other formats.

Gatot said, distance education based on information technology is becoming a necessity in the present era.

ASEAN community 2015

Indonesia's Ambassador to Thailand Lutfi Rauf said, Thailand is a country preparing the youth generation well, welcome the ASEAN community 2015. It tecermin through the program giving free laptops to students in elementary school.

Preparation to meet the ASEAN community 2015 in the eyes of Thailand is very important. OVEC Advisory Thailand Sambat Saengsawang Sujjakul said, the ASEAN community 2015 has a tremendous impact on the field of economic development so as to be well prepared so that Thailand can take maximum benefits.
