UI student leadership Program and Participated in ITB Hitachi

As many as four students of Indonesia was selected to participate in the program, Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative (HYLI) of the 12th to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on March 1-July 5, 2013. Indonesaa students will be joining other students from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam and Japan in forums regional, which presents speakers from throughout the region of ASEAN.

The four students were chosen to participate in this forum is Haneefah and Ahmad Anbar Jayadi, both from the University of Indonesia; as well as Putranta and Putranegara Yosaka Eka Riauwindu from Bandung Institute of technology. They are selected from the Ten finalists who enters the final selection interview in Jakarta early last March.

Implemented for the first time by Hitachi, Ltd. in 1996, HYLI is leadership program (thought leadership) and regional corporate social responsibility aims to identify future leaders in Asia. The Program offers the opportunity for the best students in Asia, not just in terms of academic excellence, but also active as the actuator to discuss social issues of economic, social and infrastructure at the regional level by the regional leading figures from the private sector, Government and academia.

"During the selection process, we found a lot of Indonesia students who want to be change agents. They have a broad spectrum of knowledge to create a better future, both in Indonesia and also the world. We are proud that they will be able to provide the HYLI Foundation to utilize their talents and realize their dreams, "said Hiroyuki Yagi, Chief Representative of Hitachi Asia Ltd. Jakarta Branch, Friday (22/3/2013).

Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative is viable program aims to identify and build the candidates with potential Asian leaders gather to discuss regional issues and build relationships with influential Government officials, prominent business leaders, academics and representatives of NGOs.

Since its inception in Singapore in 1996, has managed to muster HYLI students and was selected best in Asia. Currently, the seven participating countries are Indonesia, Malaysia HYLI, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam and Japan. This Program offers a unique platform for the participants to broaden their views on issues of regional and global as well as promoting the values and cross-cultural information.
