"Children no longer want to be seen as though children as parents, we know they're still children."

"It takes radical thinking among the public to look back on my childhood and protect it as valuable time, not to put pressure so they grow very fast."

Netmums site asking the views of community members and got more than 1,000 answers. The majority, about two-thirds, have argued that childhood now ends at the age of 12 years. A third of even younger again, argues that 10 years.
The findings of the Netmums has become another clue about worries over global modern cultural influences are rated much exploit sex.
"Children need time to grow and mature emotionally to be able to cope with life that they face," explains Freegard.
