3-month scholarship to the Diaspora Indonesia

If you're a citizen of Indonesia who live abroad and want to know the culture and art of Indonesia, INDONESIAN Foreign Ministry will give a scholarship for 3 months to study in Yogyakarta.

The scholarship is named after English Studies for Indonesian Diaspora, which will be held between May 25-September 9, 2013 at one of the universities in Yogyakarta for 10 people.     According to information received by the correspondent Compass at Australia l. Literature Wijaya, the scholarship was originally was named the Indonesian Art and Culture Scholarship (IACS) which has been available since the year 2013 which is intended for citizens from countries in the Pacific region.

To 2013, set it as a special program Deplu where participants are members of the diaspora community of Indonesia abroad, especially for those who live in South Africa, the US, Australia, the Netherlands, China, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, New Caledonia, South Korea, Portugal, Russia, Suriname and Timor-Leste.

Participants of the scholarship are those aged between 21-30 years old, with a minimum level of education high school. Indonesia-speaking ability is not an obligation that must be mastered, but they must have a high interest of Indonesia.
