Extracurricular Activities Can Be Special Assessments

To improve the competitiveness of the graduates that are able to compete with graduates from other colleges, starting this year the Faculty of public health (FKM) Diponegoro University issued a number of student loan policy in the form of co-curricular activities student assessment.

According to Dean Tinuk Istiarti, FKM Undip in press remarks Monday (4/3/2013) disclose these policies to better deliver ability of soft skill that students at their college more actively following extra-curricular activities so as to increase their knowledge and experience.

Through this program, students are required to collect a minimum of 5 credits per semester number. In addition, a student is also required to achieve a minimum of 60 credit number amount number of credit before a final exam scholarship. With regard to the number of credit interest and aptitude, students, among others, should be held at the Office of student affairs institutions, off-campus organizations both national and international level, regional, as well as have the achievements in the field of sports or the arts, and others.

To support the implementation of the programme, the field of Student Affairs has launched a FKM Undip software online to calculate credit points extracurricular activities students and also formed a team of verifikator.

The final results of the assessment, students will obtain a transcript of ektrskurikuler activities to be submitted at the time of graduation in conjunction with the transcript value and a diploma.
