BANDUNG, COMPASS-The Government was asked to delay the enactment of the 2013 because not socialized Curriculum broadly as well as various substantive error that should be corrected immediately. The delay was a realistic steps for the sake of the next generation education nation.
The Assembly's recommendation disampikan Professor (MGB) Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in the open discussion that was held on Wednesday (1/3). The discussion was attended by, among others, the Chairman of MGB ITB Harijono Tjokronegoro, professor emeritus of management education State University of Jakarta Henry Alex Rudolf Tilaar, Professor of Mathematics, ITB, and Iwan Pranoto Professor Imam Buchori ITB Zainuddin.
The discussion that resulted in the recommendations agreed to the necessity of changing the curriculum, but should be done with careful design and guided by the rules of science.
They provide input to such a need for the 2013 Curriculum using good grammar, can reveal the idea with a simple, straightforward and demonstrates the interconnectedness of philosophical basis with the implementation on the technical level, as well as listing the attitude and great value of humanity in order to face the challenges of the future. According to Harijono, this proposal will be presented in the Assembly plenary meeting of THIS INSTITUTION.
Assessed in a hurry
Members of the House of representatives, Commission X Rohmani, are present in the discussion, said, the enactment of the curriculum by the Government is in a hurry to 2013 and forced. The Commission recently received news regarding X Curriculum 2013 by the end of 2012, but get new documents early March 2013. The proposed budget allocation was increased from Rp 684 billion to Rp 1.5 trillion.
